Everyone is wondering what life will be like in the future. I think the life in the future will be more convenient and more interesting than now, for it is more closely associated with high technology. The personal computers will arrange everything for us. We might, as some scientists have imagined, make our homes underground with artificial lighting and constant temperature. We may have a chat with our friends or relatives on the other side of the earth through the internet when we are ready to go to bed. And who knows: we might take a space shuttle and go to the moon on holiday, enjoying the absolute quiet there.

With the further development of our economic reform and the adjustment of the economic system in state firms, many state workers have been laid off or out of employment. The employment problem becomes more and more serious. Not only the government but also the ordinary people show great concern to this problem. Though the employment problem is serious, it is temporary. With the smoothness of the adjustment and improvement of our economy, more and more those workers will find their new jobs.

Every one likes lucky things. However, some one get luck and some one can not. In my opinion, luck doesn’t come alone. It goes hand in hand with hard work and knowledge. Sometimes some people are lucky enough to succeed but such luck won’t last long because it is not based on one’s real ability. Therefore, luck is nowhere to be found but in our own hands. In a word, with work comes more knowledge and with knowledge comes good luck.
